Ingredients
- 3 avocados, peeled, pitted, and mashed
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. onion, diced
- 3 tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 roma tomatoes, diced
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced
- 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper (optional)
Directions:
- In a medium bowl, mash together avocados, lime juice, and salt.
- Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic.
- Stir in cayenne pepper.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour for best flavor.
* Note: For those of you with more self-control than myself - who don't eat the entire batch in one sitting - for better leftovers, store guacamole in an air-tight container with the pits from the avocados. This will prevent the guacamole from turning brown.
